Higgo's Heroes – State game reflections

Sunday, June 4, 2017 - 12:52 PM

BROCK Higgins is back with the latest edition of his hit show, Higgo's Heroes, featuring South Fremantle's four stars who helped the WAFL make history with a state game victory over the VFL in Melbourne.

The South Fremantle ruckman is in his second year now hosting his show Higgo's Heroes on the back of the ground breaking work done by dual premiership-winning veteran Craig White with Whitey's Whispers.

The latest episode of Higgo's Heroes is a very special one following the WAFL's 63-point state game victory last Saturday over the VFL in Melbourne.

It was the first time any West Australian senior side has beaten a team from Victoria in Melbourne.

South Fremantle's four representatives all delivered starring performances as well.

Ben Saunders led the way with six goals to win the Simpson Medal but Haiden Schloithe, Tim Kelly and Ryan Cook were all outstanding also.

They all sat down to chat with Higgins about the experience in the latest episode of Higgo's Heroes leading into Monday's WA Day Foundation Derby against East Fremantle at East Fremantle Oval.
