Friday, February 15, 2013 - 11:34 AM

THE South Fremantle Football Club is looking to reach 1000 followers on Twitter by the start of the 2013 WAFL season and by getting involved you can win some terrific prizes.
South Fremantle is offering two tickets to a Bulldogs President's Function during the season at Fremantle Oval AND two tickets to a Fremantle or West Coast AFL game of their choosing at Patersons Stadium.
To be in the running, all you have to do is follow the club's Twitter page at @SFFCBulldogs between now and the start of the season that kicks off on Saturday March 16 when South Fremantle plays reigning premiers Claremont at Claremont Oval.
Not only is South Fremantle setting the goal of reaching 1000 followers by the season-opener, but to also have the most followers of any WAFL club on the social media site.
Throughout the season, the club will be providing plenty of news, competitions and interaction via Twitter with the aim of overtaking East Fremantle as the WAFL club with the most followers.
East Fremantle currently has 1393 and Swan Districts is also ahead of the Bulldogs on 920, but South Fremantle always sets its goals high and wants your help to become the most popular WAFL club on Twitter through 2013.
New South Fremantle chief executive Stuart Kemp is behind the initiative and is only too happy to give away some highly sought after prizes to anyone who follows the club on Twitter.
Anyone who follows @SFFCBulldogs between now and the start of the season to help reach 1000 followers will go into the draw to win the terrific prizes.
"One of our main focuses this year is to engage our members and fans using social media," Kemp said.
"We are very excited about communicating better to our Bulldogs and want to reach 1000 followers before the start of the season.
"With this in mind the South Fremantle Football Club will give away two tickets for a lunch to a Bulldogs President's Function during the year and two tickets to an Eagles game or a Dockers game.  Tell all of your friends."
