CHRIS MAYNE JOINS COACHING RANKS

Former Docker & Magpie Chris Mayne will join the Club as Skills Specialist & Development Coach working under Senior Coach Todd Curley in 2024.

The 248-game AFL veteran is a huge asset to the club with his experience, footy knowledge, and passion for player development.

Mayne is currently the Director of Football at Trinity College and has held various coaching roles during his playing days and into retirement.

KRANZ & SUMICH TO LEAD MEDICAL TEAM

The South Fremantle Football Club is excited to have Courtney Kranz joining our Senior Men's program as Head Physio after 4 years with our Colts Program. 

Courtney graduated from Curtin University in 2014, with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) and completed her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports Major) in 2021. 

She practices at Silas St Physio and is well known to both WA Football audiences and private clients.

RECRUITMENT NEWS - JASON CARTER SIGNS

He was selected in the 2018 Rookie Draft by the Fremantle Dockers and has played 52-games of WAFL footy for both Peel Thunder, and more recently, Claremont Football Club.

2023 FINANCIAL RESULT

The South Fremantle Football Club has today announced an operating profit before depreciation and amortisation of $152,319 for the financial year ending October 31, 2023, with a final declared net profit of $110,100.

Operational highlights included significant revenue from investment interests, gate receipts and increased commercial arrangements.

BIRTHDAY MILESTONE FOR SFFC GREAT

FREMANTLE OVAL SECURED FOR 40 YEARS

The signing of a 40-year licence agreement between the City of Fremantle and the South Fremantle Football Club represents a major step forward in the redevelopment of Fremantle Oval, ensuring this important heritage precinct’s future is anchored by community sport.   

Fremantle Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge said the South Fremantle Football Club has been at Fremantle Oval for 124 years and is now set to be there for at least another 40.

Valuable player and teammate, Brendon Ah Chee, is hanging the boots up after 2 seasons back at the Bulldogs.

Ah Chee started his playing career with the Bulldogs in 2011 with the Colts side.

He was then taken at pick 45 in the 2011 draft, he went on to have a stellar AFL career and played 27 games for Port Adelaide and 31 games for West Coast.
